A Family That Serves Together

I've been meaning to post on this for a while. Here's a pic of D3's* Mom's car:

She's a four Blue-Star Mom and every one of her kids has now served in-theater (some multiple times) in the GWOT (call it what you want, it IS what it IS).
Kudo's to her! I'd say she raised a good set of kids.

*D3 is My 'Daughter-In-Law', now serving in Afghanistan.

Another 'Meat Servo' (Helo Style) in the Family

....and I mean that in the most loving, generous and approving way.
Yesterday, Number 1 (and only) Son joined the ranks of licensed pilots.
Proving some dreams can be caught if you pursue them.

The Father has 'Gone West'

My Father-In-Law has passed away.

In his honor, here is a photo of him in a fly-by from his tour in Keflavik Iceland, 1959. 'Rusty' is flying the left wing, second echelon.

We were in the 57 FIS, the Black Knights of Keflavik, 20 years apart.
